What can I say about this little beauty queen but that she does not take a bad photo! With mommy looking on with admiration she just grins and claps her hands for the camera. All smiles this little princess is and seems to have fun no matter where she is.....

Livi is 3.5 months old now and growing leaps and bounds. She rolls over and grabs her rattle. My favorite thing she does is laugh and talks all the time nonstop! Besides me being so tired all the time she is pretty enjoyable!

update Liv is 5 weeks!

One thing I know for sure updating a blog is hard to do with a 5 week old. Along with.. shower, go to the bathroom, eat pretty much everything else! However I have a moment this morning to update on Miss Liv! She smiled for the first time the other day at her dad. Every "smile" up until now I have thought may be gas but this was a for real ear to ear grin! She is changing and growing so fast! She came in at the 90th percentile for weight at her 1 month appointment. 75% for height. Coming in at 22 inches and 10.5 pounds. She has grown 2 inches and gained 4 pounds in just a month! I can't believe it. We are so happy she is a healthy growing girl. We have been trying to bath her in the sink and she screams bloody murder so last night while I was taking a bath,  she had a poop accident all over Kari. So we dropped her in the big tub with mom and she was smiling and settled down and was so happy. So big bath it is! She is still super fussy in the evening times not much makes her happy. Hopefully she will out grow this soon. Kari gave me a whole night to sleep in the other room last night while he did all the night feedings with Livi. What a guy! That was my first nights sleep in 5 weeks and I sure needed it. So here are a couple photos I shot of Olivia yesterday at her 5 week mark.

She is here!!!!!

Finally after 18 hours of labor and a c section.. welcome to the world little Olivia Marie Puranen. Born June 24th at a whopping 7 pounds 11 ounces and 19 inches! She finally made her appearance at 2:15 am. So far everything has been a blur. Lots of tears and frustration and bliss all combined in one. Such a whirlwind of emotions. One of these days we will get this feeding thing figured out:) No need to worry though this little chunky monkey left the hospital at 7pounds 5 ounces and is almost 9 pounds 2 1/2 weeks later so we must be  doing something right! We are so in love with her and think she is just the sweetest little baby. So far she has big blue eyes and looks like both mommy and daddy. We had our photos professionally taken and are trying to get together our announcements to send out. Can't wait for everyone to meet her!

40 weeks today!!!!! Due Date

And still no baby!!!!!!!!!!!! AGHHHHHHHHHHHH Where are you little one?! You know its bad when people with much later due dates than yours are calling to tell you they have their babies! Bitter party of 1! Not fair!!!!!!!!!

Only 1 week left and someone dear God please get this baby out!!!!!!!!!!! The first thing I am going to do after she is born is touch my feet:)

Only 2 weeks left however last check she is ready to go any day! no way to predict this one's arrival!!!!!

We had such a great time having our maternity photos taken in Leu Gardens in downtown Orlando. These were taken back on May 9th. Now we are just ready to meet our little girl:)

9 months pregnant!!!!!!

and still loving the pool! I will probably be swimming when I go into labor hahah. Swimming is the only thing that feels good anymore and the exercise keeps me feeling good mentally! I would highly recommend swimming to anyone who is pregnant:)

34 WEEKS!

34 weeks

We have made it to 34 weeks and Liv is taking up almost my entire body... well at least the middle of it. I have been craving root beer like crazy and when I drink it she goes nuts. Here is a video of her jamming out. I love that I am watching desperate housewives and it is so dramatic. I can see our future now, root beer and soap operas!

almost 29 weeks and getting even bigger!!!

26 weeks!

26weeks and growing! I'm officially out on maternity leave so just relaxing these last months till she is here! She is a bit of a kicker

24 weeks and packing on the pounds!

Here we are at 24 weeks and my how I am gaining weight like crazy!!!!! She is getting so big and likes to kick me in the ribs:) It is hard to get up from sitting and I can really feel her weight now! So excited to meet her

Alien Baby! 23 weeks!

Here is miss Livi trying to escape my stomach good thing she hasnt found the right way out yet. She is so active all the time. I swear she never sleeps hopefully she is planning on getting all her sleep after she is born hahahah yea right!

Baby Moon at 23 weeks!

We decided to get away and take our baby moon before I got much bigger and more tired. With that said we spent most of our time in San Juan, Puerto Rico sleeping on the beach. Not too bad if you ask me! We stayed at the Ritz down there and had a blast. Great, food perfect weather! What a way to spend your last vacation before baby!

Its a Girl! 22 weeks

Its a Girl!!!!!! ummmmm we think. Little thing kept her legs together so they are not 100 percent sure but we are going with girl. We will find out at birth! So far dad has gone crazy getting ready for his little girl. We have been shopping and decorating the nursery. Trying to get it all done now while I am feeling good. Here is a pic of me going out for a girls night. Kari said my stomach looked like a disco ball ahhhh what can ya do! hahah

Last week I shot an engagement session for Jill and Alex! They are getting married in Las Vegas at the end of the month!!! They are such a cute and very in love couple. We decided to do the shoot downtown Melbourne and got pretty lucky with some of the spots we came across. Such a fun day with such a beautiful couple. I was very happy with how these came out. I have so many favorites I couldn't decide

Reaching the halfway point

So we have made it half way and Kari and I can feel the baby kick and move now. I don't think this child ever sleeps! I feel it doing summer saults, kicks, jabs and other great moves I learned in Billy Blank's Taebo videos! It is harder to move around now, bend over or basically do anything normal. I am swimming laps still and that is the best I ever feel. I love being in the water and I have a feeling the baby does too. I can go through a few days in a row with no nausea now which is a major accomplishment. I still have my days where I will be sick but not as often. The baby and I had my recurrent training for work and every time the instructor or I would yell during the evacuations or self defense the baby would start going nuts. Maybe a future flight attendant? We go in for our half way point sonogram on Tuesday. This is a biggie where we will learn if the baby is healthy and functioning like it should. We will also find out the big question... boy or girl? So we are soooooooo excited! More to come on Tuesday!

Back to work

Here we go back to work!!!!! I am only working a few days a month but even still it is pretty hard on your body so I am not sure how long this will last. It is good to be back to work and see people I haven't seen in a while! Kari and i have fun riding into work together and thinking how we are going to work with our little baby. I wish it could stay in here till it was 18 its so portable! haha

Here we are at week 16. I am offically geting over the nausea. thank God! It is still there but not as bad now I am starving 24/7. I am waking up in the middle of the night to stuff my face. I can NOT stop eating!!!!!!!!!! Here I am caught in the act.....
