What can I say about this little beauty queen but that she does not take a bad photo! With mommy looking on with admiration she just grins and claps her hands for the camera. All smiles this little princess is and seems to have fun no matter where she is.....

Livi is 3.5 months old now and growing leaps and bounds. She rolls over and grabs her rattle. My favorite thing she does is laugh and talks all the time nonstop! Besides me being so tired all the time she is pretty enjoyable!

update Liv is 5 weeks!

One thing I know for sure updating a blog is hard to do with a 5 week old. Along with.. shower, go to the bathroom, eat pretty much everything else! However I have a moment this morning to update on Miss Liv! She smiled for the first time the other day at her dad. Every "smile" up until now I have thought may be gas but this was a for real ear to ear grin! She is changing and growing so fast! She came in at the 90th percentile for weight at her 1 month appointment. 75% for height. Coming in at 22 inches and 10.5 pounds. She has grown 2 inches and gained 4 pounds in just a month! I can't believe it. We are so happy she is a healthy growing girl. We have been trying to bath her in the sink and she screams bloody murder so last night while I was taking a bath,  she had a poop accident all over Kari. So we dropped her in the big tub with mom and she was smiling and settled down and was so happy. So big bath it is! She is still super fussy in the evening times not much makes her happy. Hopefully she will out grow this soon. Kari gave me a whole night to sleep in the other room last night while he did all the night feedings with Livi. What a guy! That was my first nights sleep in 5 weeks and I sure needed it. So here are a couple photos I shot of Olivia yesterday at her 5 week mark.

Finally after 18 hours of labor and a c section.. welcome to the world little Olivia Marie Puranen. Born June 24th at a whopping 7 pounds 11 ounces and 19 inches! She finally made her appearance at 2:15 am. So far everything has been a blur. Lots of tears and frustration and bliss all combined in one. Such a whirlwind of emotions. One of these days we will get this feeding thing figured out:) No need to worry though this little chunky monkey left the hospital at 7pounds 5 ounces and is almost 9 pounds 2 1/2 weeks later so we must be  doing something right! We are so in love with her and think she is just the sweetest little baby. So far she has big blue eyes and looks like both mommy and daddy. We had our photos professionally taken and are trying to get together our announcements to send out. Can't wait for everyone to meet her!

40 weeks today!!!!! Due Date

And still no baby!!!!!!!!!!!! AGHHHHHHHHHHHH Where are you little one?! You know its bad when people with much later due dates than yours are calling to tell you they have their babies! Bitter party of 1! Not fair!!!!!!!!!

Ughhhhhhh

Only 1 week left and someone dear God please get this baby out!!!!!!!!!!! The first thing I am going to do after she is born is touch my feet:)
