Fall already?

I have been so bad with the blog lately:( Have been spending much of the summer working then on my days off swimming with the girls here in Melbourne. I have had to try and give up running because I am not a spring chicken anymore. So we have started our own little swimming club here and the benefits are great. I forgot how much I love to swim. I did decide against better judgement to go for a quick jog this week in 90 degree heat and passed out cold when I got back. i guess I let myself get too dehydrated. I had to stay at the hospital until my blood pressure went back to normal which is bad because it was the day we were supposed to go on a cruise for my friend Melissa's wedding! So disappointed that I didn't get to be there for her big day. ughhh. so needless to say it is still hot here! haha ready for some cooler weather please and thank you. Next week I am headed out to San Fran, will def be getting some cooler weather there! Thats it life in Melbourne is good. OH ps still no bites on the house. If you know of anyone looking for a house in Melbourne, send them my way hahaha

July 2010

Here is a picture of Kari and I during our busy month of July. We started the month off in Atlanta for the 4th of July. Dogs, Babies, Fireworks, crazy but fun. Kari then headed out to Colorado for a hiking trip for 5 days while I worked. Then we ended up down in the FL keys with Kari's family and friends for a week. Finally the month wraps up with my trip to New York! All the while pumping my body full of hormones to help regulate my body to try and get pregnant. Surprisingly I have stayed rather mellow. I was expecting to be swinging from laughing to crying then to screaming but none just been same old me. Maybe I am too bitchy as it is and that is why there has been no difference haha. It has been a fun month and isn't over yet! More to follow......

Monthly update

Update on the baby front. Met with our Doctor, love him! He is one of the greatest Doctors I have ever met. Been going through alot of testing this month. Lets just say it hasn't been pleasant especially my last procedure but wasn't as bad as I thought. Nothing I couldn't handle. We have our final appointment on July 1st to get the results and come up with a game plan. Keep your fingers crossed, hopefully we will have a little one of the way by fall! And she/he better not be an evil brat after all this!!!! thats all I gotta say!

Monthly update

Yay its June!!!!! I love the summer. I know, I know its sooooo hot in Fl in the summer and humid but I love every second of it. My favorite things about summer here??? well lets see yesterday I ran up to the Meat market and produce stand and got chopped up chicken and fresh veggies that I covered in pesto on Kabob sticks and Kari grilled them out last night while we drank beers by the pool. I am sorry but that is just fabulous and one of my favorite married time activities. We are also planning on throwing the Kayaks in the camper and headed up to weeki watchie state park. where for those of you who don't know the water is crystal clear and you throw your kayak in the river and paddle a four hour trip. meanwhile you stop at the little beaches along the way and swim with the manatees. Does not get any better than that! So beautiful! Those are a few of our exciting summertime activities. We do have a couple trips this summer too. In July we are headed out to Colorado to hike for several days. We are building a base camp at 10,000 feet and maybe I will make the hike up to 14,000 I am nervous about altitude sickness since I am coming from Fl but I fly around in the air for a living so I might be ok. Also I am off to NY with the family at the end of July. We have been working away trying to save up a down payment on our new house that hopefully we will be buying in the next year. Also today we are meeting with a specialist to see what the heck is taking so long on the baby front. I prepared for a few procedures possible even surgeries in the next year. So wish us luck but either way life is great and we are having so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summer activities

Here are a few fun things we have done so far this summer. On saturdays we like to ride our bikes out for breakfast then hit up the farmers market for our fresh produce for the week. Also Kari had an 18 hour overnight in Fort Lauderdale. His hotel is on the beach and here is a pic of the view out the window. What a wonderful little vacation. I went down early and had cocktails and met a couple other people staying at the hotel out by the pool. so much fun

Spring updtae

Sorry I have not updated much on here and there actually has been so much going on! A big congrats to all my friends who have had spring weddings. We had a blast up in Myrtle Beach, SC at Elizabeth and Jerry's wedding. Such a beautiful wedding, very southern set in the middle of gorgeous Tree's in a adorable town called Conway. Liz looked so gorgeous!!!!! Jerry didn't look too bad himself. What a great time! Next we headed to Hilton Head, SC for Courtney and Travis's wedding. Again we had a blast catching up with all my old friends from High school. While we were there my parents, brother and his family, and my sister in laws parents all got together at a beach house. One last gathering before my brother gets sent out on the air craft carrier for 9 months. We are going to miss him so much and wish him a safe return! Also a congrats goes out to Tara and Dave. We didn't make it to there wedding but from the pictures I have seen Tara looked so beautiful!

I think our weddings are coming to a close for the summer. We have a few more trips planned for the summer. I will keep you updated! Other than that I have been struggling with sinus infections since Feb. As many of you know the pollen this year has been horrible. I just finished my 4th antibiotic since Feb. I saw a ENT who highly suggested I have a surgery to straighten my deviated septum. Um yay! Now i can get the nose job I have always wanted while he is doing the surgery! So excited. Still think I am going to wait a bit to do the surgery but we will see. Next time you all see me I may have a straight nose! Poor little Kari has been putting up with me and all my nose blowing. He has been healthy as a horse and working away. Trying to get in fishing trips when he can. I have been keeping him busy and on the road. I hope everyone else is healthy and happy out there and hope to catch up with everybody soon. XOXOXO
