Against the grain

Kari's band Against the grain played last night at Bunkey's on the beach. This is the first time they have played out in a while and they were so good. The drummer was amazing!!! haha It was alot of fun.

Captain Hiram's

Happy Birthday Kari!!! We had a birthday celebration at Captain Hiram's for Kari's birthday. We took the boat out all day stopping at islands along the way. At night we docked at the marina and stayed at the hotel next to the marina. It was so much fun and I am so glad that people got there schedules moved aound to be there.

Bridesmaid dress

So I got three sample bridesmaid dresses in the mail to try on today. I love all 3 but this is the one that I am going to get for the bridesmaids. The difference is that my wedding colors are light blue and bright pink. I have attached 3 pics 2 of me modeling the dress and then a color sample of what the dress will look like. I am pairing the dress with off white or ivory heels. I think it will be cute. The colors are from the movie Marie Anntoinette.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!!

Today is Kari's birthday!!! The last year of your 30's ouch. Aren't you glad you are marrying someone 10 years younger than you to remind you of how old you are all the time. I am so happy to be here this year to share in your birthday. You are a very special person and I can't wait for us to be married and become a family. You are a very kind, accepting, compassionate person and I am so lucky to know you. This is going to be a great year and a fab birthday party. I love you baby!!!!!

Hair and makeup

We also went today to have a trial run for my hair and makeup. This is just an idea of what it will look like. The final product will be much more elaborate. It will be a surprise on that day how it will look! yay

wedding Ceremony Site

Mark is in town and we went to Saint Augustine today. We went to look at our ceremony site to set up how we wanted the wedding to be situated in the garden. I have decided to get married in front of the lions and palms. I think it will be very pretty

Happy Birthday Kitty!!!

Happy Birthday to my sister Kitty! This is a birthday that you will not ever forget because you are about to pop! I can't believe that you and your baby are going to have birthdays so close that is crazy. Hope you find a way to have some fun today. Make Jeff treat you like a princess today oh wait that is everyday. (i hope) HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!! Don't kill me for putting that picture of you on there but it is my favorite. You look so cute awwwww. Can't wait for the big day

And... we are still painting....

Okay so we are still painting as you can see I am over it. We finally finished most of the house and have just a few touch up spots to do. The Cancun Sands came out very pretty in the house and goes great with all the dark furniture. Better come visit to see for yourself

Painting Day!!!!

Today is painting day in our household. I actually have 2 days off in a row this week. So we are taking advantage of it by getting up to our ears in paint. We are painting the majority of the house a color called Cancun Sands that is pictured in the post below. It is a light yellow. So far we have painted the hallways and laundry room. We are doing the rest tomorrow. Already the house looks so warm and friendly!!!
