Paint Everywhere

So I have decided to take on the task of paining Kari's house. This is a project that is not easily done. Since I have to paint the entire house!! I have paint swatches painted all over his walls because I am searching for the perfect colors. For our family room and dining room I am so happy I found the perfect color. It is one you can hardley see which is great because I can do anything to this room. It is called cancun sands and I think it will work great. As for the living room and kitchen...... dun du du dun!!!! He has painted a brown sponge paint color all over the walls and weighed the room down with a gigantic black leather couch and big black tv. I was thinking of a light blue color just something to lighten the room up. but the walls are so big any color I paint will over power the room. so the search goes on. Back to lowes for more liter size paint cans to splatter all over the beautiful brown sponge paint... Any Suggestions?????????

Sheena's Wedding

Kari and I just got back from my niece Sheena's wedding. We had such a good time but I think I could sleep for a week. So here are a few pics. Sheena looked beautiful and I hope her and Jared have a lovely time on their honeymoon.

1 room complete

Okay so we have finished one room in Kari's house finally. The last thing to be done in this room and our next project is to change all the blinds in this house. So the pictures are not very good but If you can tell I am going for a morrocan style theme in this room. This is the guest room so when you all come stay this is your room. I don't think you can tell but I have two pretty frames set up for pics of the parents so I need good shots of you guys to go in there. I left the price tags on the palms incase Kari wasn't crazy about them I can take them back. Since he bought them hehe anyway, so please come visit anytime Your room s ready!!!!!!!

Kari's Fish

So Kari had a very successful day fishing today on the new boat!! He caught a 30 lb grouper, 50 lb sailfish, and 3 mahi mahi! Yay now I can eat all the fish I want for the next month. Yummmm. Here are some pictures

More house additions

As soon as I moved in I hung my clothes and pulled the closet fixture out of the wall. For those of you who know how much I love my clothes this just wasn't going to do. So Kari built me a new closet for me. I have an entire wall for my shoes and the closet rods curve around so I can look in and see all my clothes at once

We also added my couch to the living room/ library. The red rug is not going to stay and the next step will be to paint the house. The white walls have to go!!! I will update more pictures as we do more work....

House Repairs

For those of you who don't know Kari bought a forclosed house in Melbourne, FL that needed alot of repaires. He has been working hard and replaced the tile and redid the kitchen. There is still alot of work to be done. I offically moved in this weekend!!! I brought with me my furniture and will be showing photos as the process moves along. First is the view from the pool. It is already soooo hot down here that the pool is really the only place you can be in the summer.

The second area that we have been working on is the eating area. I have attached a picture of the breakfast nook. Kari hung the chandalier... I also attached a picture of my dining room table and chairs that I moved in. We still need to get rid of the lighting glass lamp thing that hangs down over the dining table. We are putting in a rod iron light fixture to hang down over the table. so should be very pretty
